
John Burr
John Burr has more than 25 years of experience in technical
engineering, performance,
and professional training. He has written and produced hundreds
of scripts in all media, and has directed well-known national performers
Alexander Scourby, Fritz Weaver, William Conrad and Lary Lewman,
among others.
His
more than two decades of experience as a recording engineer have
led to a thorough understanding of studio design and operation.
John
received his musical training at the Eastman School of Music in
Rochester, New York, baccalaureate education at the University of
Maine, and post-graduate composition training at The American University
in Washington, DC. As an assistant conductor of the U.S. Air Force
Singing Sergeants and musical director for the American Educational
Theater Association and USO, he toured abroad and nationally before
starting a recording industry career and John Burr Productions.

Neil
Samuels
With an eclectic performing
and engineering background first in rock and jazz in New York, then
to R&B in Philadelphia, Neil Samuels has consistently scored
with performers and critics alike, working with diverse talents
such as Chubby Checker, The Flamingos, Joey Dee and the Starlighters,
The Fascinators, Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose, Stephen Stills,
Monardo Meco, and Billy Joel.
With
credits on albums totaling in the hundreds, both as instrumentalist
and engineer, he trained at two top international schools - Art
Institute International and Full Sail Center for the Media Arts,
working in a wide range of audio and video production venues.
At
the request of several prominent theater directors in Philadelphia,
he served as their technical director and sound engineer for several
years before returning to the studio. His work in the theater helped
develop his skills in audio and video production, which he has brought
with him to the Washington area and to John Burr Productions.
